- ABPM (Assistant Branch Postmaster): ये डाक मास्टर की मदद करते हैं। इनका काम टिकट बेचना, डाक की छंटनी करना और सरकारी योजनाओं का प्रचार करना होता है।
- Dak Sevak (डाक सेवक): इनका मुख्य काम डाक, चिट्ठियां और पार्सल सीधे लोगों के घरों तक पहुंचाना (Delivery) होता है।
इस नौकरी की सबसे खास बातें
- काम के घंटे: यह एक पार्ट-टाइम सरकारी नौकरी (Part-Time Job) की तरह है। इसमें आपको दिन में केवल 4 से 5 घंटे ही काम करना होता है।
- कोई परीक्षा नहीं: इस नौकरी को पाने के लिए कोई लिखित परीक्षा (Exam) या इंटरव्यू नहीं होता। इसका सिलेक्शन सीधे 10वीं कक्षा के मार्क्स (Merit List) के आधार पर होता है।

- 5 साल की सर्विस के बाद: आप Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) या Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA) बनने के लिए पात्र हो जाते हैं।
