BSEB Bihar Board 11th First Merit List 2026: As is the case every year, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the Bihar Intermediate (Class 11) admissions through OFSS, an online facilitation system for students. This year, the BSEB released an official notification regarding Intermediate Admissions 2026-2027 through OFSS on its website (OFSS Bihar). Students were given very little time.The application process was scheduled to begin on April 8, 2026, and was originally scheduled to run until April 18, 2026. However, the deadline was later extended to April 25, 2026. Even with this extension, students had very little time—only six days—compared to previous years, forcing them to make hasty decisions.
Students who applied online for admission to Class 11 for the academic session 2026-27 are informed that the official OFSS website has released the first merit list/intimation letter. All students can download their first merit list/intimation letter from the OFSS official website using their application number and mobile number.

You should go to the school where your name appears in this intimation letter as soon as possible with all your required documents. Do not wait for the deadline to confirm your enrollment.
Contacting the school early will benefit you in that if you are missing any of the required documents, you may have the opportunity to have them made up. If you apply for admission on the last date, you may be denied admission.
Note:- Students whose names appear on the first merit list but do not enroll will not appear on any subsequent lists. They will be denied admission this year.

In Ofss Bihar Intermediate 11th Admission 2026, the selection of students is based entirely on merit (Class 10 marks) and college preferences. This process is conducted in a transparent manner by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) through the OFSS portal.

If you wish to apply for the Bihar Board Inter Admission 2026 online, please follow the steps outlined below. If you want to check the OFSS Bihar Board Intermediate Admission 2026 merit list or if your name appears on the list and you want to download your allotment letter/intimation letter, follow the steps below to check your allotment. First, you need to visit the official OFSS website. Once you reach the official website’s homepage, you will find the “Student Login” option in the top menu in red; click on this option. This password would have been sent to your mobile number via SMS when you applied for the form. If you don’t have a password, there’s a Forgot Password option below the login window. Enter your mobile number and click Generate OTP. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. After entering the OTP, you will be given the option to create a password. You can create a new password of your choice and then login. After logging in, the student’s dashboard will open. From here, you can check and download your allotment. Print your intimation letter in two copies. One copy will be submitted to the school. If your name doesn’t appear in a school, you can change your choice. You won’t have to pay anything for this. Note:- If a student’s name appears in a school that doesn’t have a choice, If they are in a school where attending classes is difficult, they can obtain information about vacant seats in their nearest school and enroll in a nearby school. However, they must first enroll in the allotted school. They will then need to enroll through the school. This process is a bit difficult, but proves to be helpful for further studies. |
