Eligibility Criteria Bihar STET Form 2026
Eligibility for the Bihar STET may vary depending on the post and subject. Generally, candidates must possess the requisite educational qualifications in the relevant subject. Additionally, a teacher training qualification (such as B.Ed or equivalent) is also required.
- For Paper 1 (Classes 9-10):
Graduation in the relevant subject. - B.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed or an equivalent recognized teacher training qualification.
Specific qualifications have been prescribed for certain subjects (such as Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Special Education, etc.).
- For Paper 2 (Classes 11-12):
Post-Graduation in the relevant subject. - B.Ed / equivalent teacher training qualification.
Separate specific qualifications will apply for subjects such as Computer Science, Agriculture, Commerce, etc.

Exam Pattern Bihar STET Form 2026
The Bihar STET 2026 examination will once again be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. According to the official notification released by the board, the exam will be held online and will feature objective-type (MCQ) questions. The examination will consist of two papers.
- Paper 1: For candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 9 and 10.
- Paper 2: For candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 11 and 12.
Note:- Candidates are informed that, as per the official notification, questions in each paper will be based on the respective subject.

How To Apply Bihar STET Form 2026
If you wish to apply for the Bihar STET 2026, you can submit your application by following the steps given below.

- Then, click on the “New Registration / Registration Page” link available on the homepage.
- Carefully enter your name, mobile number, email ID, and other requested information.
- Once registration is complete, a User ID and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
- Log in to the portal using the received User ID and Password.
- After logging in, the application form will open. Accurately fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, subject (Paper 1 / Paper 2), and other required information.
- Upload your photograph, signature, and scanned copies of the necessary certificates in the prescribed size and format.
- Next, pay the examination fee using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- After a successful payment, carefully review the application form preview. Correct any errors if found.
- Once all information is verified as correct, submit the form finally and keep a hard copy or PDF printout of the application form for your records.
