Indian Army Agniveer Vavcancy 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

Agniveer (General Duty – GD)
Class 10th/Matriculation pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.

For Boards following the grading system, minimum ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in each subject or 33% grade in each subject and overall ‘C2’ grade or equivalent, which is equivalent to 45% in aggregate.

Note: Candidates possessing a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license will be given preference for driver requirements.

Agniveer (Technical)
10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. Or

10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board, including NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in the required field with NSQF Level 4 or above. Or

10th/Matriculation pass with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in English, Maths and Science, along with 02 years of Technical Training from ITI or two/three years Diploma in the following streams (as mentioned in the rally notification).

Agniveer (Office Assistant/Store Keeper Technical)
10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.

Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass
Class 10th pass only.
No condition on aggregate percentage, but 33% marks in each subject are required.
Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass
Class 8th pass only.
No condition on aggregate percentage, but 33% marks in each subject are required.
