Bihar Polytechnic Entrance Test 2026 : Category Wise Eligibility Criteria

Polytechnic Engineer (PE)
Candidates must have passed the 10th (High School) examination from a recognized board, or be appearing for it.
Para Medical (PMM)
In this case as well, candidates must have passed the 10th-grade (High School) examination from a recognized board, or be appearing for it.
Para Medical (PM)
Candidates must have passed the 12th (Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics or Biology as subjects. For the GNM course, candidates must have passed the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects, securing a minimum of 40% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
Para Medical (Intermediate Level)
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English), or they must be appearing for this examination. For the GNM course (for women only), a minimum of 40% marks is required in PCB and English. Additionally, a relaxation of 5% will be granted to SC/ST candidates, and candidates with ANM or Vocational Nursing qualifications are also eligible to apply. For the ANM course (for women only), candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 40% marks, including English as a subject. For Dental and other related courses, having Science subjects (PCB) and English at the Intermediate level is mandatory. Candidates appearing for the examination in the year 2026 are also eligible to apply.
