PM Yashasvi Scholarship Yojana 2026 : If you belong to the OBC, EBC, or DNT (Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes) category and are currently studying in classes 9, 10, 11, or 12, or are enrolled in a recognized college, there is excellent news for you from the Central Government. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has launched the “PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI)” for OBC and other eligible groups. Under this initiative, the ‘Top Class School Education’ scheme provides scholarships of up to ₹75,000 per annum for students in classes 9–10, and up to ₹1,25,000 per annum for students in classes 11–12. Furthermore, the ‘Top Class College Education’ scheme offers support for expenses such as computer fees, living costs, books, stationery, and the purchase of a laptop, ensuring that students can continue their education without facing financial hardship.

It should be noted that the PM-YASASVI scheme is an umbrella program encompassing five sub-schemes, including the ‘Top Class School Education’ and ‘Top Class College Education’ schemes. In this article, we will provide details regarding these two schemes. Under this initiative, the government covers the tuition fees, hostel charges, and other prescribed academic fees for selected students.
