The NTA has scheduled the application submission process for the UGC-NET June 2026 exam from April 29, 2026, to May 20, 2026. All eligible and interested candidates may apply for the UGC-NET June 2026 exam by visiting the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The link is provided below. NTA UGC NET June Form 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the UGC NET examination, candidates should be aware of all the eligibility criteria.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent degree from a UGC-recognized university or institution, having secured 55% marks.
Candidates who have completed a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree program must have an aggregate score of at least 75% or its equivalent.
Ph.D. degree holders are granted a relaxation of 5% in their aggregate marks. Eligible candidates must have completed their Master’s degree examination by September 19, 1991.
Applicants who are currently in the final semester of their post-graduate degree program are also eligible to apply.
Candidates are required to have secured 55% marks, while for students belonging to reserved categories, 50% marks are mandatory.
