UP Teacher Eligibility Test Form 2026 : Eligibility Criteria Class (1 tO 5)

• Candidates who have passed their graduation examination and are appearing in the final year of or have passed a two-year D.L.Ed. (BTC) program from an institution recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh (which must also be recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE]).
• Candidates who have passed their graduation examination and are untrained/graduate Shiksha Mitras (para-teachers) pursuing their training through the distance education mode, and who are appearing in the final year of or have passed a two-year BTC program.
• Candidates who have passed their graduation examination and are appearing in the final year of or have passed a two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) program from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) OR are appearing in the final year of or have passed—a two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed. Special Education) program from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
• Candidates holding a graduation degree who are appearing in the final year of—or have passed—a Special BTC training program conducted in Uttar Pradesh and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.
• Candidates holding a graduation degree who are appearing in the final year of—or have passed—a two-year Special BTC (Urdu) training program conducted in Uttar Pradesh; OR
• Candidates holding a graduation degree who are appearing in the final year of—or have passed—a Diploma in Teaching program from Aligarh Muslim University.
• Candidates holding a graduation degree who possess a Moallim-e-Urdu title awarded by Aligarh Muslim University prior to August 11, 1997 (this applies to Urdu teachers).
• Candidates who have passed their Intermediate examination (or an equivalent qualification) with a minimum of 50% marks and are appearing in the final year of—or have passed—a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) program.
