UP BEd Joint Entrance Exam Form 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

For General and Backward Classes, a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities category with a minimum of 50% marks. For students specializing in Mathematics and Science in B.E. and B.Tech. (Engineering), candidates with a minimum of 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent to the above are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.

(For General and Backward Classes, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a University established by law with a minimum of 50% marks in Science/Social Science/Humanities category. For students majoring in Mathematics and Science in B.E. and B.Tech. (Engineering), candidates with a minimum of 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent to the above are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.)

For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from any University or a Bachelor’s degree in B.E. and B.Tech. with a specialization in Mathematics and Science or any other qualification equivalent to the above are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.

(For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes <extra_id_1> candidates having Graduation/equivalent degree from any University established by law or with specialization in Mathematics and Science are eligible to appear in the entrance examination.)
