JEE Main Session 1 Result 2026 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the online result, cut-off marks, and scorecard of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) 2026 for admission to B.E./B. Tech. or B. Arch. or B.Planning courses on January 1. The JEE Mains Session 1 Examination 2026 was successfully conducted from January 21 to January 30, 2026, across the country, as per the notified examination centers. All interested candidates can download their result online for the JEE Mains Session 1 Examination 2026 from February 16, 2026, on the official NTA JEE Main portal jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main Session 1 Result 2026 : Notice Released

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Session I 2026 result will be released by February 16, 2026. All eligible students can download their results online through the NTA JEE Main official portal, https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/, using their application number and password. The link is provided below.

The evaluation of multiple-choice questions for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch. and B.Planning will be done using the final answer key and the raw marks obtained by the candidate will be further considered for calculation of JEE (Main) – 2026 result.

For multi-shift papers, the raw marks obtained by the candidate in different shifts/sessions will be converted into NTA scores.

List of JEE Mains Qualifying Exams (QE):

  • Final examination of the 10+2 system conducted by any recognized Central/State Board.
  • Intermediate or two-year pre-university examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
  •  Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
  •  Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of five subjects.
  • Any public school/board/university examination in India or any foreign country recognized by the AIU as equivalent to the 10+2 system.
  • Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
  • Diploma of at least 3 years duration recognized by the AICTE or any State Board of Technical Education.
  • GCE Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office in Geneva.
  • Candidates who have passed the Class 12th (or equivalent) examination from outside India or from a board not specified above must submit a certificate from the AIU Association stating that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12th examination.
  • If the Class 12th examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have previously passed at least one public (board or pre-university) examination.
  • Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE), Sikkim.
JEE Mains Registration 2026 Process
Register for the online application and note down the system-generated application number. Candidates will be required to provide the required details when filling out the online application form. They will also be required to create a password, choose a security question, and enter their answer. After successfully submitting personal details, an application number will be generated and will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application process and will also be required for all future references/correspondence. The generated application number will be used/referenced for both sessions of JEE (Main)-2026. For subsequent logins, candidates will be able to login directly with the respective system-generated application number and their own password.

  • Go to the NTA JEE Main official portal at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
  • Click on the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 Result link in the Latest News section in the middle of the home page.
  • You will be redirected to the JEE Main Examination 2026 result download page.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth correctly in the input fields provided on the result download page.
  • Next, enter the security PIN displayed on the page correctly to proceed to the next step.
  • Finally, click the Submit button to download your result from the NTA JEE Main web server.
