  • For Medical Assistant (Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy), the age limits for unmarried candidates are between Jan 1, 2003 and Jan 1, 2008.
  • For Medical Assistant (Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy), the age limits for married candidates are between Jan 1, 2003 and Jan 1, 2006.

Indian Air Force Medical Assistant Vacancy 2026 : Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Or
    Candidates must have passed a 2-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  • And for Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy candidates: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, a Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of admission is required.
Indian Air Force Medical Assistant Vacancy 2026 : Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Height:- The minimum acceptable height should be 152 cm.
  • Weight:- Weight should be proportionate to height and age, as applicable for the IAF (Indian Air Force).
  • Chest:- The minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm, and the chest expansion should be at least 5 cm.
  • Hearing:- The candidate’s hearing should be normal, i.e., they should be able to hear a low whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
  • Teeth:- Gums should be healthy, there should be a good set of teeth, and at least 14 dental points should be present.
 
Indian Air Force Medical Assistant Vacancy 2026 : Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
PFT Test:- I  Candidates have to complete 1.6 Kms run as per the following timing to qualify.

PFT Test:- II Candidates who pass PFT-I will have to take PFT-II after a 10-minute rest. The sequence of exercises and the maximum time allowed are as follows:
