BPSSC Bihar Police SI Admit Card 2025 : Notice Released

The preliminary written examination, which will be conducted in two shifts on January 18, 2026 (Sunday) and January 21, 2026 (Wednesday), will have the BPSSC Bihar Police SI Admit Card 2025 available for candidates from December 30, 2025, on the board’s website https://bpssc.bihar.gov.in under the ‘Bihar Police’ tab.
Candidates are required to download and print their e-admit cards. To appear for the examination at the allotted center, candidates must present their e-admit card along with a valid photo identity proof such as a Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, Driving License, PAN card, or Passport. If the photograph on the e-admit card is unclear or missing, candidates must bring two passport-size photographs identical to the one submitted with their application form to the examination center.

BPSSC Bihar Police SI Vacancy 2025 : Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The written examination will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary and Main Examination. All papers in the written examination will be based on a multiple-choice format.
First Stage: Preliminary Examination – The preliminary examination will consist of one paper of 200 marks with a total of 100 questions, and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours. The questions in this paper will be related to General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Candidates who score less than 30 percent marks will not be eligible for the main examination.
Second Stage: Main Examination – Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be given the opportunity to appear for the main examination. The main examination will consist of two papers.
The first paper will be on General Hindi, carrying 200 marks, with a duration of 2 (two) hours and 100 questions. A minimum of 30 percent marks is mandatory to pass; otherwise, the candidate will be disqualified. The marks obtained in the General Hindi paper will not be added to the merit list.
The second paper will cover General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Aptitude Test. The second paper will carry a total of 200 marks with 100 questions, and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours.
In both stages of the examination, 0.2 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The answer sheet will be in two copies. One copy will be retained by the commission.
