Selection will be based on interview and educational qualification. - In light of the provisions contained in Chapter IV (Recruitment by Selection) of the Commission’s Procedure Rules, 1996, if the number of candidates exceeds the number of vacancies, the list of candidates for interview will be prepared by dividing the percentage of marks obtained in each examination from Matriculation to the minimum required qualification for the post by the total number of examinations. Five times the number of vacancies will be called for interview.
- The interview will carry 100 marks and 100 marks for educational qualification.
The educational examination-wise breakdown of the 100 marks allotted for educational qualification will be as follows: - Matriculation : – 10 marks
- Intermediate/+2 : 20 marks
- Graduation : 60 marks
- Post-Graduation : 10 marks
Total – 100 marks
Note: (i) Diploma will be considered equivalent to Intermediate. (ii) The 100 marks allotted for educational qualifications will be distributed exam-wise as follows: - The marks obtained per exam (in percentage) multiplied by the marks allotted for that exam will be calculated for merit. For example, if a candidate obtains 60% marks in the Matriculation examination, the 10 marks allotted for the Matriculation examination will be distributed as follows:
10 x 60% = 6 Marks (i.e., 06 marks will be calculated) - Furthermore, the marks allotted for various educational qualifications will be distributed exam-wise based on this.
