The Bihar government has invited online applications for the Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) Scheme for students belonging to Backward Caste, Most Backward Caste, and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories for the academic year 2025-26 through the PMS Online portal. All eligible and interested students can apply online for the Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme 2025 on the official website of PMS Online pmsonline.bihar.gov.in from 15 September 2025 till the last date of application is 15 November 2025.

Eligibility for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship 2025 2026. |
| Applicants must be permanent residents of the state of Bihar. Furthermore, the applicant’s caste must fall under the Backward Class (BC)/Extremely Backward Class (EBC)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe category. Only students from Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes or Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes whose parents/guardians’ annual income, including their own income, does not exceed ₹300,000/- will be eligible for scholarships under this scheme. Applicants must also be pursuing post-graduate courses at government institutions/recognized non-government institutions located within the state. |
