Bihar Board 10th Compartment Form 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

We would like to inform you all that the eligibility criteria for the compartment examination are as follows.

• The Bihar Board Matric (10th) Compartmental Examination is conducted for students who were unable to pass the main examination. This examination provides them with a second chance to pass their failed subjects within the same academic year.

• Students who have failed in one or two subjects.

• Can take the examination only in the subjects in which they have failed.

• Students who wish to save their academic year.

Who can’t apply for this.

• Students who have failed in more than two subjects will have to take the examination again next year.

Note:- If you have failed in one or two subjects in the Bihar Board Class 10 examination, you can get an opportunity to pass in the same year by taking the compartmental examination.

An Opportunity for Absent and Missed Students

• Students who were absent from the examinations for one or two subjects

• can now appear for the exams in those very subjects.

• They will be given an opportunity in the compartment or special examinations.

And for those whose forms were not filled out.

• In this scenario, if the form was not submitted due to an error on the part of the school,
  such students will be given the opportunity to appear for the Special Exam 2026 in all subjects.

How many chances will be available for the compartment exam

• 2026 – First Attempt
• 2027 Annual – Second Attempt
• 2027 Compartment – Final Attempt
  Note:- In other words, students are given a total of 3 attempts.
